Q. Has anyone taken one of the REO webinars from CLS Asset Management in Atlanta - that I keep getting dozens of emails about? Are they legit? the emails say nothing about cost, either.

A. I could find no records of CLS asset Management in Georgia. Checking the address and it is a strip mall. There is a UPS store in the mall so checking with them for maybe a po box. The last webinar like this I attended was a group of people filtering listing leads for 25% of your commissions.

They say that Chase has approved Realtors to list distressed properties but you must attend a web session.  The email is from Christian Spater.  I was not able to find any information that validates this email.  I am getting the emails everyday.  www.daytonhomelister.com

Hi - same here but just started getting them today... Here's what mine reads....

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

CLS Asset Management has pre-selected you as a candidate who most likely qualifies to apply with Chase outsourcers for NC assignments. You will receive bank information as well as direction on where to submit your documentation for immediate consideration.

If you are not the real estate professional listed above, please disregard this invitation.  Due to expected high demand and limited availability, only invited professionals may attend.

See you on the training,

Jesse Simpson
Program Director

I'm not liking the fact that my "invitation" contained my NJ Real Estate License Number.

Submitted 06/10/13 05:11 PM Oh, wow, Lisa! I'm with you on that. How DID they get it? I've stopped getting invitations. I guess after about 100 and you don't respond, they drop you off the list and move on.

Our office is also getting invitations here in Montana from:

Chris Bond chrisbond@preapprovedassets.com
REO Vendor Network Coordinator
CLS Asset Management

We believe these are just people who want to solicit business and have found agents are responsive to REO/ShortSale/BPO connections. Some of the information may be informative but they all want money for their courses most of which is available for free from public sources.

The spin on our invitation was:

"RoboSigning" settlement and the Mortgage Debt Relief Act"
