Q. From one Realtor to another...I have a couple of active listings, both have been on the market for two months. I need to leave town for two months. How much money / percentage should I offer a Realtor in my office to handle the listings. Would this be considered a referral or a co-op? Thanks

A.

If I were leaving town and had two properties listed that needed babysitting I would just give them 30% of the listing side and when I got back they would continue to help me with them since they will eventually get paid.
