Would You Drive One of These Vehicles?  In the past month I have noticed some interesting vehicles on the road. I took a couple of pictures. I thought they were all three so cute! This cute scooter is in the window at Leroy's in downtown Redlands, CA.   This bike I took in traffic a couple of wee...

The Little Yellow Bird This morning, while out on a nature walk, I noticed a storm is brewing and the birds are extremely upset. They are searching for food and a place to take cover before the storm. This bird is called a "yellow-Rumped Warbler".    Just before the huge gusts of winds came, I to...

I have to be totally honest, I had never heard of Mourning Doves until I posted pictures of what I thought was a shaggy Pigeon. But Gloria Todor of ActiveRain's “Birds” group told me she thought these birds were Mourning Doves. Of course, after researching it, I found Gloria was right!     I ...

Walking in the Sand….at the Beach When I go to the beach, I think about many things in my past. First of all, I think of "The Beach Boys" and "Jan and Dean". They sung all those beach songs and then there were the beach movies with Annette Funicello, Sandra Dee, and Frankie Avalon. Oh, they were ...

“THE END OF THE DAY”   While driving home last night in San Bernardino County, as I looked to the west  as far as I could see, the sun was just about to set. The beautiful colors of the red fireball was almost down. The light from the cities were so beautiful so I wanted to share this photo. It w...

My mother and grandmother both loved African Violets so I guess it was a given that I would love them too. They last for a long time with very little attention sitting in my kitchen.  Gidget is my African Violet Inspector. I guess my new plant passed inspection!   African Violets seem to be very ...

Many of us at ActiveRain have been having computer glitches in the past several days. I am re-blogging this post from AR as it explains what is going on. I thought maybe I was the only one but apparently we are all in the same boat; no comment updates, logging on problems, posts just disappearing...

Additional Information

I am a Southern California Realtor and have a wide variety of interests. First of all Real Estate is my real love and focus point but I do have hobbies. I am interested in photography; nature, landscaping, lunar and solar phases, but Birds are my favorites. I also enjoy scrapbooking, blogging, and traveling; beaches, deserts, and mountains. I am also involved in the community as I care about the Inland Empire and making it a better place to live. I write this daily blog composed of nature, real estate news and interesting stories in Southern Califoria and other places across the United States.
