Mililani Town Association is holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from9am to 11am at Recreation Center 6 and MTA Identification Cards will be checked and tickets collected at the door. Admission fees include: Pre Purchased Ticket - $2.00 per person with valid MTA ID card Pre Purchased Ticket - $5.00 per person with valid MTA sponsor Purchase of Ticket at the event - $4.00 per person with valid MTA ID card Purchase of Ticket at the event - $7.00 per person with valid MTA sponsor Pre-sale tickets may be purchased at the MTA Administration Office. Dear Guests, I invited you into my seller's home via ad in the paper, internet marketing and word of mouth for an Open House. You came into the home on a rainy day with your muddy slippers on and ignored the sign to "Please remove your shoes". I had to hold my hand up to stop you from coming on the brand new carpet! I'll remember to order those throw away shoe covers ... ....because your feet were muddy even after you took your slippers off! You then proceeded into the house blubbering incoherently and walking sideways. I could smell the (94 comments)
mililani open house: Who Says Holding an Open House Won’t Work?

We ALL know that the market will depend on any given local area and neighborhood. So whoever says Open House's don't work are the ones who are in areas that it really doesn't work. It could be that there area is so rural that it takes an hour to drive from house to house. It could be for a thousand other reasons including the agent just doesn't like sitting at an Open House. I held an Open House for my listing for Mililani Fairway Village yesterday (Easter Sunday) and though it was slow in the beginning I still had 9 groups (28 comments)

We all know the drill on real estate and safety. There was an incident where an agent held an Open House and a 'nice' couple came in and while one distracted her the other one found her purse and stole her wallet. After reading about that I got to thinking that it might be wise for me to have my husband drop me off at my Open Houses...and pick me up so I don't need to take my wallet with me. I have my SmartCard on a clip so I'm good. So, for the first Open House (when this started) he drove me around and (13 comments)
My family bought their new Mililani home in 1971 and because the Mililani High school wasn't finished building I caught the bus to Wahiawa and graduated in 1974. Mililani Mauka had their ground breaking ceremony in 1990 (7 comments)
