This new home on the market at 1028 Carrington Court Kingsport Tennessee, is really quite lovely.  It is a split foyer, but has that "WOW" factor.  When I walked into 1028 Carrington Court for the first time, I was thinking, split foyer, basic 3/2, but I was pleasently surprized.  This house has great angles, good sized rooms and a covered back porch!  1028 Carrington Court, is really quite nice.  High quality features and very well built.  Please join me in this video so you experience it first hand..than call me for your appointment!  Enjoy this video at 1028 Carrington Court Kingsport … (2 comments)

Those of you who know me, know I love to hike and walk and enjoy the outside activities our area has to offer.  I try to get some type of exercize everyday and Kingsport has a fabulous Greenbelt walking trail in the center of the city.  I had heard about this trail many times, but walked the Kingsport Greenbelt Trail for the first time yesterday afternoon. kingsport real estate: It's was a great day for a ballgame!! - 06/23/11 07:56 PM
We had a fantastic time.  The weather was hot hot hot..... This picture was taken of Rachel and Walker.  They had no idea I was behind them!  So funny, than I texted the picture to them. We were hidden in the tunnel so we watched them turn around in shock.  Pretty fun to mess with your kids.  We were also treated to a 5-1 win, Braves over Blue Jays.

kingsport real estate: Downtown Kingsport Tennessee - 05/30/11 09:21 AM
Downtown Kingsport Tennessee is an older city and has so much character. The buildings are older, brick, historic looking.  There is an area called "Church Circle" where the whole "circle" surrounds a tree filled boulevard with several Churches standing proudly on the roads creating the circle. It's breathtaking.
The downtown Kingsport area has many shops, restaurants and everything is in walking distance.  It's a great walking city.
Kingsport also has it's part of the city where you will find a few old broken down buildings.  I find that just as interesting as the lovely part of the city. Today I went to a … (10 comments)

kingsport real estate: Johnson City Press..Hot Hot Hot - 04/19/11 09:04 AM
So many cities have rid themselves of their local newspaper.  This has not hit our local area yet.  Yet, being the key word.  My hometown newspaper is gone (The Ann Arbor News) It really made me sad when this happened. I remember my paper route as a child, me and my brother folding papers and riding our bikes after school delivering the paper.  Than on Saturdays, walking downtown to pay out dues.  We would have breakfast and visit Aunt Donna, who lived above the local HVAC company, Clark and Phillips.  Of course that has nothing to do with the newspaper, but with … (6 comments)

kingsport real estate: Don't get to "wigged" out - 04/19/11 07:26 AM
I'm having a great week so far having fun with non real estate blog type posts.  Everyone needs a break now and than!  I had so much fun Sunday walking through my girl friends Wig shop.  It was closed and I was free to play around.  I'm thinking wigs may be kind of fun.  I did find a cute bob type style with streaks of red that I considered.  Hey, no more bad hair days! I find the bottom picture kind of creepy.....

kingsport real estate: So you are moving to Tennessee and need a few pointers......... - 04/11/11 05:42 PM

Tennessee is a fabulous place to live and a great place to buy real estate.
One bonus of living in Tennessee is that we do not have a State income tax. This is appealing to many residents who like to hold onto their hard earned money.
Whether you are a buyer or seller of real estate in Tennessee, it is good to know about our State contracts.  They are created by the Tennessee Association of Realtors legal team and are examined and re-vamped yearly.  The Realtors across the State all use the same form and fill in the blanks … (2 comments)

Tri-Cities Tennessee is located in the middle of everything!  You are one to four hours away from so many great activities and beauty, no matter which direction you turn.  Last week-end we stopped off in Charlotte North Carolina and visited the downtown area. (3 hour drive from the Tri-Cities.) This week-end we are going to Asheville North Carolina, just a mere 1 hour drive over the mountain. Asheville has so much to offer, shopping, dining, eclectic downtown area, perfect place to people watch!  I like to call Asheville an artsy place.  Lots of creative venues, musicians on the street, a park i the … (9 comments)

kingsport real estate: I love my sellers! - 03/21/11 08:44 PM
We all talk about how wonderful are careers in Real Estate are, and repeat time and time again, "I love my job, I love what I do".  Well I would like to take that a step further and say, I love my sellers. I am primarily a sellers agent and I take that very seriously.  I enjoy setting their minds at ease and putting the sale of their most important asset in my hands and out of their minds.  I talk to them often and make myself very visible to them. I have constant feedback and market information to keep them in … (6 comments)

kingsport real estate: Fairly random - 03/13/11 09:39 AM
You go to dinner with your family and you sit in your spot throughout the meal. It's enjoyable, great conversation and some laughter. Your eyes keep venturing around the room to the brightly dressed women behind your daughter, the painting on the wall to the right of a Paris cafe and the swinging doors to the kitchen where waiters and bus boys keep running in back and forth.
Here's a thought!  Change places with someone across the table from you.  It will change your whole view, thought process and experience at the table.
Enjoy!
