I happens to all Realtors.  A seller has their house listed with Realtor, but continually lets you know how important it is that you push the sale of their house.  I typically respond with something along the lines of "If I have a buyer in that price range we will consider everything available, but I am not going to push any house more than the next."

So the stock market has been hit hard but my real estate investments haven't lost any value.  This may be affected to some degree on the location, but I feel that my money is safe. 
The economy is in a (D word) and we don't know how we are digging out yet.  All of these potential solutions, but is anyone comfortable with any of them.  I know I haven't been convinced.
