vt: Had a long day... Went to the Town Tavern WON a Hammerhead Pro Sled!

Sounds weird however after 9 hours with out of state buyer clients showing condos for a second home in Burlington, Vermont I was ready for dinner. When I got home I asked my wife if she would like to go to the Tavern for dinner. Well SURE! We went down the road to the "Town Tavern" , a nice local place owned by a REALTOR® friend who recently opened in Shelburne, Vermont. We had just ordered and I could hear the waitress telling the couple next to us that they were going to be announcing the winner of the Hammerhead Pro sled. The entry was by guessing the (7 comments)

If you have a buyer who has considered a new build (in the Burlington, VT area) as well as an established city home there are things to remind them of as a buyer's agent. Do they mind the sound of hammering and sawing (7:00 am to 4:00 pm) 6 days a week? Do they mind the dirt and debris blowing around? Do they mind the smell of diesel fuel and sound of heavy equipment? It could be three to five years before the build out is far enough along to not be troublesome. Some think it is worth it. (I do) (7 comments)

Let me explain: 1.) There are more buyers than houses available for them in Chittenden County Vermont. (low inventory in price ranges from 0 to the mid fives) 2.) Buyers are very motivated as the VT interest rates are still 3.37% for a 30 year loan. (10 comments)
