Clarksville followed much of the country in the 4th quarter with a dip in sales in November which meant that closed listings in the months of December and January will be affected.
Active listings decreased in December to 1886 from October’s total of 1924. This decrease was so slight and it is mostly attributed to holiday happenings and commitments.

Riverfest 2012 Clarksville TN was a huge success. September 7th and 8th brought several thousand people out to experience the 25th Anniversary of Riverfest Clarksville TN. It was a really great time, to eat and drink and buy crafts and enjoy music from a variety of music genres and talented artists.
The banks of the Cumberland River were covered with people on blankets, sitting in chairs, standing and swaying to the music. Many festival watchers came by boat and anchored close by to enjoy the entertainment from the comfort of their boats.

Roxy Regional Theater Celebrates 30 Years of Action
The Roxy Regional Theater's location originally served as a movie theater called the Lillian in the early 1900’s. It burned, was rebuilt and then provided great entertainment to Clarksville area through the silent picture era. It went dormant during the Depression.
Another fire occured in 1945. When it was rebuilt this time it was renamed the Roxy, sporting a new exterior look featuring neon lighting. It continued to show first-run movies to the Clarksville population until 1980.
