ninjacoach: Active rain I phone - 07/23/09 10:05 PM
Ok, so I admit it. This is my first post on active rain with an iPhone. It was once said that technology is a great tool but a terrible habit. So to overuse any method or means I suppose would be counterproductive. Still when one thinks how far on so little time these tools have been made available to us , we have to recognize how truly lucky we are. It's a great business and tools like the iPhone , active rain, databases and website templates put the world, out customers, and our future business in the palm of our hands! … (3 comments)

ninjacoach: Are You Excellent? - 06/06/09 07:27 AM
ARE YOU EXCELLENT? ”Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” --Aristotle "The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor." --Vince Lombardi ”If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude.” --Charles … (0 comments)

ninjacoach: Some thoughts on bringing more happiness in your life - 05/03/09 10:18 PM
Just a few thoughts to consider this week on how to bring more greatness, results, and happiness into your life.....
If you have hurt someone, ask for their forgiveness.  If they will not forgive you, forgive them for not forgiving you.  Not forgiving another is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.  It is a gift you give to yourself that others may benefit from should they choose.
Other factors being equal, money scarcity is often related to low self worth and resultant self sabotage.  We tend to get and keep that which we deserve.  If we get what … (4 comments)

Purpose of this action:  To look back on what we do right and what we could do better and to use that reflection to improve our decisions, choices, and actions

ninjacoach: How to Succeed in the Coaching Process - 01/14/09 10:20 PM
How To Succeed in the Coaching Process
General Expectancies:
•·        Consistency.  Bi weekly is often the best option, though some people are able to go week to week or close to it.  But no matter the amount of sessions, they need to be seen as a priority.  A serious personal situation or an urgent client matter may take precedent, but these meetings have to be seen as a priority not an option that can be pushed aside.
•·        Clear Commitment: This is to your coach, yourself, and most important the process.
•·        Focus on Being Accountable and Getting Things Done:  You … (0 comments)

ninjacoach: If You Really Want Success...... - 01/07/09 07:10 AM
If you really want success, Let Go of Your Attachments... Chances are, people who are solely focused on the end result don't have a process they have faith in.  As such, they concentrate more on trying to control the outcome: pushing for what they want rather than managing the process. Yet, trying to achieve more without a process to guide you is like would be similar to driving from New York to California without a map while wearing a blindfold! If you continue your quest for success with your eyes focused on the finish line, you will miss out on the journey.  And when you … (6 comments)

ninjacoach: Happy New Year???? - 12/31/08 08:01 PM
Well, certainly, I want to wish everyone a happy new year.  But I had a couple of questions first. First, can we really wish for a happy new year or do we have to take steps to create this happiness on a consistent basis? Second, and perhaps more important....what is happiness for you? In my experience as an agent, coach, manager etc I have learned that happiness is not limited or truly defined by what you get, but how you get it and more importantly, why you want it in the first place. I may want to make $500,000 but how I choose to approach … (0 comments)

ninjacoach: Fail Forward or Fall Back - 11/17/08 09:32 PM
The reason most people fail has nothing to do with intelligence, ability, desire, or need.  No, the reason most people fail is most often the result of their perpetuation of the same old habits and the rationalization that it is OK to keep doing them. Success happens with failure, but only through the commitment to change in the face of it.  Change may be a sacrifice, but most sacrifice is for a greater cause.   We have a choice.  stay the course and see what happens.  Or, chart the course and make happen that which we say we want. Look at your life...which choice … (0 comments)

ninjacoach: How do You Measure Success? By Dennis Giannetti (Ninja Coach!) - 11/04/08 11:51 AM
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome."                                                   -- Booker T. Washington, Educator Consider this....It was once said that opportunity and fortune were brilliantly disguised as problems and challenges. Here is what I know.  Too many times we judge our success on what we have achieved.  We look at our scorecard and not our effort.  We look at the end result and not the means to get there.Too many people define themselves by what title they hold, the car they drive orthe things they … (1 comments)

ninjacoach: Moving Forward by Cheryl Reynolds Link - 10/22/08 09:26 AM
With Wall Street and Main Street facing more economic turmoil in the coming months, what approach should each of us take NOW with respect to our own personal and professional lives?  Whether your financial portfolio is in stocks, bonds, real estate or cash in your sock drawer, the answer is still simple.  Keep moving forward, work hard, and focus on those things that have produced results for you in the past. DON'T LET FEAR IMMOBILIZE YOU!!!  Limit the amount of time you spend listening to and watching the media as they tend to dramatize every situation (we know this from our hurricane experiences!). There's … (0 comments)

ninjacoach: The Bridge to Somewhere - 09/21/08 11:56 PM
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.                                                       Jim RohnIn business planning class, we first teach people the difference between goals and results.  Many times people think that they are setting goals, but what they are really doing is stating a desired result.  The "goal" of making $100,000 for example, is really a result.  Goals are those actions that get us to that result.   But even this knowledge is not enough. I often make a point about people being "ready, willing, and able".  Most are ready to be successful....and in many ways they are able....but are they willing? To know this, we must … (1 comments)
