It was a lovely spring morning in our nation’s Capitol.  The weather was perfect and the backdrop at the base of the Washington Monument couldn’t have been any better.  We’ve been promoting the Realtor® Rally for some time now and I wasn’t sure what to expect.  How many people did they expect?  What were they going to talk about for 2 hours?  What is this rally about anyway?  
I believe they were expecting around 10,000 people from all over the country.  Last count they passed along was over 13,500.  NVAR and other Virginia, Maryland and DC associations had busses set … (1 comments)

Wow! What a month we had in March! It was as if the faucet was turned on once again for real estate in our area. Inventories in most markets continue to decline which has pushed many price points to around a month or less of inventory. With that we've seen an increase in multiple offers on properties. Unit sales remained steady year over year but average sales prices rose 8.09% in the Northern Virginia marketplace and 9.88% in Fairfax County.
