hotshotpros: Denver Real Estate Photography or Colorado Real Estate Photography? - 08/20/12 10:49 AM
As a Marketing company that does mostly Real Estate Photography and video in Colorado, we're always trying to figure out what sounds better to our main client base.  There is an inherent problem with a statement that sounds better to the public versus what will gain more attention in the search engines, so we have to be very careful with how we brand ourselves so that we can get the best of both worlds.
For those that know just enough about SEO to be dangerous, generating correct titles for a post is extremely important and can certainly help you get alot … (0 comments)

hotshotpros: Why video is a good idea... don't miss the boat! - 07/27/12 03:56 PM
Video is very important to use in all business, but in real estate it's imperative that you do it because of the amount of competition out there.   And for those who are using video, many are not doing it correctly.  Just having a video is not always a good thing... especially when it's done poorly or looks too average.  The following video explains what video does for you and why it's so important to do it the right way.
PLEASE NOTE: The following HotShotPros Video was produced by yours truly... even the ugly bald guy that is depicted here is well... … (7 comments)

hotshotpros: Okay, Okay... I'll list the prices on my site. (LOL) - 07/27/12 01:02 PM
Okay, by popular demand... we've posted the pricing to our site.
Over the last five years, we've done business completely on a referral basis and have fulfilled well over 1500 photography, video, and virtual tour orders completely on that basis.  However, now that we've grown significantly, we are finding that we spend about 30% of our time explaining our price structure to those who find us over the web. Here's the link: Pricing for Real Estate
It's not that we don't want to talk with anyone and explain what we do for them, it's simply that we are confident that we … (2 comments)

Video for Real Estate in Colorado is really beginning to take effect.  Now that more and more Real Estate professionals are using it, we are seeing a dramatic range of quality in video production.
Of course there are the "Do it yourself" videos, and the professional video productions for real estate.  No matter what the quality of your video is, it can be very beneficial but should be done right.

hotshotpros: Less Pictures can be better. Don't shoot yourself in the leg! - 08/27/10 11:04 AM
We've all heard that buyers want many pictures, but sometimes it might be best to leave some of them out.  Imaging should get people excited to call and see the listing.  Unfortunately, some imaging can create more objections to overcome than we'd expect.
Today, as I'm going through the new listings on the MLS, I'm noticing that there are tons of photos that do very little to show a listing.  Many do nothing to even tell me what room it's in because it's simply a corner shot that shows a little corner of a window, or a shot of just a … (3 comments)
