Good morning,

It has been awhile since I have been on. Hope everyone is doing well.  I was just going to fill everyone in on how the months been treating me so far.  I picked up two listings this month and I am working on a third today (so wish me Luck).   That's about the extent of the good news.

I have one in escrow right now which I am representing the buyer, a local investor here in the area, paying cash, so you would have thought it was going to be smooth sailing right? Ha ha never going … (0 comments)

Good Morning all and happy president's day, I hope you all had a great Valentines Day weekend.   Mine was relaxing and great.

Out of curiosity I was wondering how many and if any of your brokers hand out leads and if they do are they any good leads?  Also monthly office dues commission Splits and what not. I just wanted to see if it is pretty standard or if there are differences.

Right now I Pay 220 a month in dues and get 60/40 split, no leads.

So any comments

Once again I've had some real great advice from all of you but the one that really caught my eye was this and thought I would Share it with other.

Get a lender, inspector, appraiser, etc. to sponsor a first-time home buyer seminar.  They put up the money and you put it together and you're the Realtor for the Q & A.

Although I think it is a great idea and I have already contacted a lender and they love the idea as well, we are having a little trouble finding a way to market it and get people … (2 comments)

sellers agent: Investing? - 02/09/09 03:24 PM
Anyone can tell you that there is no such thing as "sure bet" in the world of investing. That's why it's important to enlist the help of a real estate professional.

Having the professional assistance of a real estate expert can be invaluable, even if you've invested in real estate before. A … (0 comments)
