gainesville: This is Great news! - 05/24/09 06:17 PM
In today’s AJC they have an article entitled “Prices rock in these ZIPs”. Check it out. According to the stats, Gainesville, 30501, is number 3 in the metro area in new homes sales since 2008 and Hall County’s 30564 zip code made the list of the greatest growth in combined home sales since 2008. Proof again that we live in a great area and it’s a great time to purchase a home. Interest rates and prices are down. Interest rates are holding, but prices are on the increase. Don’t be one to say, I wish we would have bought when the … (0 comments)

gainesville: If you have a home on the market in Northeast Georgia… - 05/19/09 03:08 PM
…be happy. The economy here is not nearly as bad as elsewhere in the U.S. Consider this; according to the Michigan Association of Realtors, the average sales price of a Detroit home fell to $13,638 in January, a -42.6% decline from the $23,755 average home price in January 2008. Yes you read it correctly. It’s not $130,638, it’s thirteen thousand. In the not so long ago booming real estate mecca of Las Vegas, the average sales price during the first quarter of this year is $140,000. In Hall County, from Jan. 1, 2009 to today the average sales price for all … (0 comments)

gainesville: Be careful with low ball offers - 02/29/08 12:10 PM
Hi everyone. I hope the week has treated you all well. The fly bug has hit my house. My wife has been in the bed for 2 days. I just hope and pray it won’t spread.

I wanted to pass along a question that I’ve been getting from buyers lately.

A: Well, I can tell you that I personally have not seen a house sell for … (1 comments)
