st louis: Great Stats on the market - Check out Altos Research - 02/20/09 04:23 PM

Buyers want a deal, so we need to define what a "deal" is to determine the true Value they want to find in a home vs. the media reports that the real estate world is on proverbial life support and the housing market has collapsed.
On the seller side, home owners are looking for a realtor to come in and truly guide them through the process from start to finish in way that wasn't as dire as recently as even 6 months ago. … (1 comments)

Bike naked in other cities...other countries. Great stories to share with the kids and the grandkids some day. Of course, you may want to keep the photos away from those that are underage.

This Saturday, in Tower Grove Park, dozens of cyclists will do the Full Monty for the Wolrd Naked Bicylce Ride. The ride is approximately 10 miles and will end at near by Atomic Cowboy in The Grove Neighborhood.
70 cities around the country have hosted similar events in attempt to bring awareness to issues such as pollution and global warming. So, will nake bike riders make you more aware of our dependency on oil? Tell me … (6 comments)

st louis: Blunt signs property tax bill - 07/04/08 01:08 AM
Blunt signs property tax bill
St. Louis Business Journal - by Matt Allen
Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt signed legislation Wednesday that is designed to help protect Missourians from rapidly increasing property taxes.
Senate Bill 711, sponsored by Sen. Michael Gibbons, will help inform Missourians of any tax or assessment increase as soon as possible and give more information on how a reassessment will affect them.
Blunt said in a release that he believes earlier notification and more information will give property owners more time to appeal the assessment and more details to discuss local tax and spending policies with officials.
