florida: Wachovia/Wells Fargo "Fast Track" program cuts out requirement for written hardship - 03/14/11 10:54 PM

Wells Fargo/Wachovia/World Savings Bank recently unveiled a new short sale program in Central Florida that was developed for homeowners holding loans by one of the three entities.

WOW! It's so refreshing to have a lending institution who realizes that being proactive rather than reactive will only … (0 comments)

florida: Florida Buyers to Pay for Lender Required Repairs on a House They Don't Yet Own! - 01/12/11 07:22 PM

In June 2010, the Florida Association of Realtors and the Florida Bar approved and released a new “AS IS” Residential Contract For Sale and Purchase.

The new contract was expanded to ten pages and there were several changes that may surprise Buyers who are purchasing a home in Florida if not known about and responded to at the time of contract writing.

One of the additions to this contract that may impact Buyers is the paragraph titled: Property Inspection; Right to Cancel.

Unlike prior year contracts, the new one clearly states in italics and bold print:

florida: Safety Fair & Farmer's Market in Lake Mary, Florida - 05/17/08 02:31 PM
The City of Lake Mary is sponsoring a "Safety Fair" on Saturday, May 31st from 9:00am-1:00pm. The Fair will be held at Lake Mary's City Hall and in Central Park, where visitors can also enjoy the Farmer's Market.

This year, the City is asking visitors/residents to donate their unused cell phones to the "911 Cell Phones for Seniors" Project. Donated phones are given to Seniors so that they can make emergency calls only.
This event and others like it is why I love Lake Mary!  And, according to Money … (2 comments)

Well, if you live in Lake Mary, Florida, I am pleased to … (1 comments)
