new: Cash Flow in the New Economy

Starting a blog off with the word "Wow" is generally used to grab the attention of the reader really quick. In the case of this blog, I won't start it off with "Wow" but I do want to get your attention.
Here we go. "Cash Flow is King" is a phrase many of us have heard of. The truth of the matter is that it is king in the lives of those who have it. Those who don't have it just sit around wishing for a little cash to come their direction.

Recruiting is not at the top of the list for a lot of businesses these days. A lot of companies are laying off by the thousands. So why should we recruit in this down economy?
Here's 9 reasons why:
1. New recruits bring new contacts with them
2. New recruits come with new energy and excitement
3. New recruits are willing to be be trained to start earning money quickly
4. New recruits fresh new approaches to tap into new markets
5. New recruits add to the morale of the company

new: We don't need another 2008, We need a great 2009

Something tells me that 2009 will be a year of great opportunity. I say that because of my faith in God and my firm belief in good things coming to those who wait. Many of us have been waiting for a long time for the right opportunity to come along. In really should say many of us have being prepared to receive a great opportunity.
Over the years I have seen my share of good opportunities. Some I have been able to take advantage of because I was prepared mentally and financially. But there were those opportunities I had to (3 comments)

There is more to be considered about the economy than our egos. Sales is an industry where our egos can be stroked so we feel so great about ourselves that we would never dream of making a change for fear of being labeled a failure. Failure is doing the wrong thing long past the time you were warned that it's over. For many people in the sales arena, it's over. What I mean is that it's time to move on to something else. It might very well be that they will still be in sales but selling something different. Sometimes it's (8 comments)

new: Being recruited by another industry recruiter

OK you get calls from recruiters in the Real Estate field. How do you feel about getting calls from people outside the Real Estate field? Occasionally I get calls from people trying to get me to leave the profession I'm in to do their deal. I'm just imagining that Realtors get calls, email, post cards and other forms of communication from recruiters from various fields. In my estimation, recruiters perceive Realtors to be good targets because of their entrepreneurial spirits. Let's face it, if you can sell Real Estate you probably could sell other services as well.
