new jersey: Proposed Oceanfront Access changes in NJ Ocean County in the Mix - 06/03/11 10:50 PM
Proposed changes to New Jersey's waterfront brought out hundreds in Long Beach Island Thursday Night. The public access laws are up for re-evaluation, some common ground was found at a final public hearing  but there are strong opinions from those on both sides of the debate.
The debate has been stewing for some time  The pandemonium is over the state's policies toward allowing public access to waterfront areas. The rules would change the type of access private business owners would have to provide the general public, and also put access plans in the hands of individual municipalities rather than a single plan for … (0 comments)

new jersey: NJEA Out of Control - We need a solution ! - 10/28/10 11:13 PM
Are you telling me you can not see that the NJEA is out of control? On top of 591 districts that each have a superintendent. We have teachers, department heads and administrators who do not belong in the positions they hold. We need a new start. We need a new structure and we need wise up. It's about our kids, taxes and using some common sense.
Let's say for the sake of argument we took these two ideas and implemented them immediately. Establish new job descriptions for superintendents. All must have a Financial Background making for better allocations and less dependence … (0 comments)

new jersey: Foreclosure Actions Frozen - 10/05/10 12:51 AM
Proper documentation has not been available to court judges around the U.S when banks foreclosed on property. With very few judges bringing light to this fact in New Jersey, Atlantic County Judge William C. Todd III  ruled on June 29, 2010 that Bank of New York had "failed to establish that it was entitled to enforce the note as of the time the complaint was filed" and prevented it from proceeding with foreclosure.(The complete article can be found here.). I find it disturbing that Judge Todd is the only New Jersey Judge to write an opinion on a an action that could constitute fraud.
