pay it forward: Pay it forward in September. - 09/22/11 07:25 AM
I got an opportunity to pay it forward yesterday without planning on doing it.
A beautiful Edible arrangement with delicious fresh fruits was delivered to my house for my neighbors as they were not home.
I was told that they he had left a note at the door for them to pick it up at my house.
I was worried that it would not remain fesh if I did not put it in the refrigerator so I took out food from my Fridge and made room for this arrangement. They did not come last night so I knocked on their door today. They … (19 comments)

pay it forward: Pay it Forward. Donate clothes that you no longer use. - 09/14/11 08:46 AM
It is getting cooler so I looked in the closet for clothes that I will be wearing this fall. I found clothes that do not fit me and a couple of new items that I never wore. I decided to get organized so that it will be easy to find items I need.
I was surprised I had a bag full of things to take to Goodwill.
I took the bag to Goodwill and feel good about it.
This is a good time of year to donate .

pay it forward: Pay it forward. Contribute money to charities. - 09/06/11 06:00 AM
I attended a holiday celebration at Bharatiya temple  on County Line road , Chalfont . They have 10 days of celebrations. For labor day weekend they have carnival atmosphere and vendors selling food, Indian dresses and jewelry.
They also have temple committee members selling raffle tickets and bracelets and hair bands which I do not use. When I walked out of the auditorium there were two young kids who ran towards me and asked me to buy a ticket. I do not expect to win but I thought I would buy one ticket and consider it to be a donation. When I purchased … (7 comments)

pay it forward: Pay It Forward. Call people whom you know who live in Cities affected by Hurricane Irene. - 08/30/11 09:08 AM
Pay it forward and call people who live in cities affected by Hurricane Irene.
I am glad I was not affected by the hurricane. There were just a few tree branches that I had to remove from my yard.
We lost power for a short while and it was not yet dark so  I did not need the candles.
I called many people and there were many without power and cable . One of the tenants had a  minor problem and I suggested that she call the handyman directly and have him look at it. I too lest a message for him and … (10 comments)

pay it forward: Pay It Forward , Help someone carry groceries to the Car - 08/26/11 09:15 AM
Pay it forward help someone carry groceries to the car.
I was at the grocery store the other day and it was raining. There was a woman who was struggling with the umbrella and the grocery cart.
I helped her take the groceries to the car and gave her a plastic bag for the umbrella so that the car seat would not get wet. I recycle plastic  bags that are used for newspapers . They are perfect for umbrellas. I usually have a couple of bags in my car .

I always look for coupons in the Sunday newspaper but they have many coupons I do not need. I was talking to my friend the other day and she mentioned she uses coupons and it saves her a lot of money.
I asked her what items she usually buys and offered to give spare coupons to her. I spoke to her on Sunday . I asked her which ones she needed and clipped the coupons and gave them to her.
If you can would like to help someone , this is a good way to help and it will not cost you … (5 comments)

pay it forward: Pay It Forward. Donate to Goodwill - 08/06/11 12:36 PM
Pay It Forward. Donate to Goodwill.
There is Goodwill store in Warminster. It is located at St Davids Avenue and Street Road, near Thunderbird Bowling.
I decluttered the kitchen and found a few things that I do not need.
I took them to the Goodwill this week. The cabinets look spacious and well organized.
I will be having friends and family for dinner in a few weeks . My friends usually  out at the kitchen after dinner. s I am glad I have decluttered and in the process have been able to help a charity.
