1950s: THE DARK SIDE OF REAL ESTATE EVICTIONS AND FORECLOSURES - 04/26/12 01:18 PM
In the 1950's, all you would see on television or in movies is healthy and whole communities with good neighbors and well kept homes all surrounded with white picket fences, dogs in the yard and a bike or two in the driveway. Nothing could go wrong and this was normal. No one rented either. You bought a home and joined a community
SURE IF IT HOLDS

1950s: I MAKE LOVE TO MY WIFE ALL THE TIME THE 1950'S VERSION THAT IS - 12/14/11 05:03 PM
Up to 1950's, and in movies leading up to it, you will often hear the phrase of making love and it is used generously and liberally and without hesitation too. WHY? Because it meant something else at that time. It meant to court or woo (wooing) and was delivered with innocence. Are you trying to make love to me? Yes, and then they would go steady at some point

The current craze for 3D is just that....a craze......from the root word....CRAZY. This is not a new concept...no not at all. It had debuted in the 1950's in Sci-Fi movies and was a huge draw then. But, it faded away and then was recently re-introduced...... courtesy of John Cameron's Avatar motion picture.
Here is where I am going with this.....you see I believe that the movie industry is in it for a buck....let me rephrase that...a quick buck...actually lots of quick bucks.......So anything that will produce that result...which appears to be the business plans of most movie producers....is supported and green-lighted....

1950s: GOING TO THE MOVIES.....EXPENSIVE, TIME CONSUMING, AND 3-D? PART 2 - 07/29/10 06:24 PM
In Part 1, we explored the 3-D phenomenon and what it does or does not offer. In Part 2, we will discuss somethings that may make the movie going experience a little better to enjoy.....actually a lot better.....
A little history is appropriate here..........When movies first came out, they were awkward and not refined usually with an organ to accent the movie for sounds. I do not want to go back that far. Lets talk about how they refined it and made it into a destination and a place to spend the day......
You see not too long ago.... they would … (0 comments)
