We're always hearing about thinking outside the box for innovative ideas and new business concepts.  And, many website designers and real estate professionals are very focused on links coming into their sites from other sources for SEO, Search Engine Optimization.

Incoming links are quite important for SEO, however, links within your site, Internal Links, are very important as well.

I'm not going to be mean to somebody here or talk bad about anyone.  I'm talking about me!  I tell this to real estate professionals all of the time ... I'm the worst at what most people find works for them in their real estate business.

I am the Real Estate Business Guide writer for the New York Times Real Estate Business website at About.com. Because I've written a lot there about websites and Internet marketing, I get emails every week from frustrated real estate professionals trying to develop a lead generation strategy on the Web.  Many are not happy with their websites which they've now had up for a few years, and wonder what to do about it.  I hear all of the time that a real estate agent would like to make a change, but it seems like just too big of a task.

 Quick, this is a test!  This is a circuit board controlling your new car's various warning systems.  Suddenly you realize that the last two times you crossed through a certain construction zone, your tire pressure warning activated.  You couldn't get the warning light to go off until you adjusted one or more tire pressures, even though none looked low to you at all.  And, it only happens in this one location.  Which component is malfunctioning?  And it may be none!

I found a concise definition of “lead qualification” online (with a Google search of course).  It said that lead qualification is:  “Marketing activities focused on evaluating the readiness, willingness, and ability of a lead to buy.”
My last post about Pay Per Click marketing generated questions in the comments about “qualifying” leads, follow-up, and statements that getting leads wasn’t enough … they must be qualified.  Web marketing isn’t easy, and we can get caught up in a lot of tactical maneuvering to get someone to our website.

websites: Add 1 Million+ Relevant Keywords To Your Website in Minutes - 07/18/11 10:05 AM
I can see some real estate agents salivating when they see the title of this post.  They're thinking that it's going to be like buying 500 pre-written drip emails, or getting hundreds of articles to immediately copy and paste on their websites.  Of course, the copied articles will be all over the Web, and they'll all be duplicates, so the search engines won't give you credit for them anyway.
