humor: Entertaining Excursion While Showing a House - 10/09/12 04:13 AM
A while ago we had a couple we took house hunting.  One of the options that Mrs. Seller was exploring was the possiblity of getting a house that at sometime could also serve as a Bed 'n Breakfast.   The property was an old victorian home that was some "distance from reality" in that it was a little more than an hour from a major metropolitan area.  The pictures on line were intriguimg...we made the appointment...got in our vehichles ....and off we went....
Mmmmm...large kitchen that would serve the potential guests well...good room sizes on the first floor...a welcoming sort … (11 comments)

humor: A smile for the weekend .... - 05/31/12 05:54 AM
This actually happened with some guys from Maine .

They dressed the truck up with the guy spread eagled on the roof.

The driver and passengers put on Moose heads.

They went down the Maine toll road Interstate, causing 16 accidents.

Yes; they all went to jail... Yes; alcohol was involved...

This proves that men cannot be left alone.

They need women to keep them from being stupid.....

humor: Blogs Let You See a Person ....Behind the Professional - 04/27/12 04:13 AM
One of the things that blogging does...if the Blogger chooses....is to give an insight into the professional as a person...I am the eldest of three children...born and raised in Wisconsin....my Father was a strict Catholic...and that is the church all the children attended. We went to public school....and attended classes on Saturday mornings while we were in elementary school and later in high school on Monday evenings. The church we went to was a beautiful red brick colonial building...that replaced an older church and had a rectory attached to it.  It also had an elementary school behind it and Fish … (5 comments)

humor: Today's chuckle... - 01/30/12 02:31 PM
Because a part of our practice is devoted to divorcing/divorced couples...someone sent me this joke and thought I would share it...Enjoy ! How Many Women? A little boy was attending his first wedding. After the service, his cousin asked him, "How many women can a man marry?" "Sixteen," the boy responded. His cousin was amazed that he knew the answer so quickly. "How do you know that?" "Easy," the little boy said. "All you have to do is add it up, like the Preacher said: 4 better, 4 worse, 4 richer, 4 poorer."

The first man married a woman from Alabama . He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from South Dakota . He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was … (15 comments)

humor: What is Celibacy ? (Humor...toooo good to pass up...enjoy !) - 07/22/11 08:08 AM
Celibacy What is Celibacy?
Celibacy can be a choice in life, or a condition imposed by circumstances. While attending a Marriage Weekend, Frank and his wife Dorcus listened to the instructor declare, “It is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other.”

He then addressed the men. “Can you name and describe your wife's favorite flower?”

Frank leaned over, touched Dorcus's arm gently, and whispered, “Gold Medal-All-Purpose, Isn't it?”

And thus began Frank's life of celibacy.

humor: Are you Ready for Some Football ? - 02/04/11 06:08 AM

I must confess...I realize I risk getting deported from Wisconsin for not being a football fan....grown men jumping on each other has just not ever been my idea of entertainment.....but it sure has been a  boon to the Wisconsin economy.....you can't drive by a gas station that doesn't have a display of Packer t's and sweats....and the fever pitch of excitement is mounting as the big day draws near...thought the Packer and football fans would appreciate this humor....Enjoy the Game !

humor: It's 'Tini Time ! ENJOY ! - 12/04/09 06:30 AM
I know this story sounds like a product of my imagination...I assure you ...it is not.  A while ago....it had been a long day....and it was only 4 pm....so we stopped at what the more country-ish part of Wisconsin might call a Supper Club..it was early and almost no one was there for the dinner hour....so the waitress came over to take our drink order.
I perused the table tent of tantalizing special drinks they had and told her "I will have an intravenous martini." She dutifully wrote down the rest of the orders and disappeared into the bar … (11 comments)
