wesellupsidehomes: The Sheriff is Not the Last Short Sale Word in Wisconsin....
- 01/07/14 05:16 AM
Wisconsin is a very consumer friendly state...and that applies to the legal procedures for foreclosure as well as other laws. Sometimes we are introduced to a Short Sale seller very late in the pre-foreclosure proceedings...the foreclosure clock continues to run legally while the distressed Seller may be trying to sell the house.
We had just such a case...the house had been listed with another agent and the Seller called and asked us to list it...he had no showings and time was short before the Sheriff would be putting the house for sale and it would be foreclosed.
