Last week the Queen City Rotary club awarded it's "Officer of the year" award to Manchester police Detective Michelle Orr. Officer Orr is the resource officer at the Mclaughlin Middle School in Manchester NH. Personally I can tell you from attending many events at Mclaughlin Middle School for Sports, Concerts, Activities and through the parent teacher groups, that she has been a HUGE benefit to the Mclaughlin community. I do not think she gets to hear enough how thankfull the parents, teachers and students are for her hard work.She is involved with the school, participates with the cross country team and (4 comments)

HOOKSETT NH this weekend will be the scene of of the Hooksett Bike Rodeo on May 12.2012. From 10am to 1pm at the Tri-Town Ice Arena parking lot the Hooksett Police and Fire Departments will sponsor this family event,.Five different courses will be set up to teach children the safest ways to learn how to ride their bikes. There will be helmet checks bike safety inspections and bicycle registrations available.The police employee's union will raffle a bicycle to benefit Ethan Boynton, a local 8 yr old who is suffering from a rare disease. police: Trick or Treat Stolen away from local Children in Manchester NH - Who is the Grinch of Halloween?

The Manchester NH police chief David Mara announced "Trick or Treat" will be held on Halloween Monday Oct. 31, 2011 from 6 to 8pm here in Manchester. Parents of young children are in an uproar. A tradition for young children has been looked over without even considering the consequences.Trick or treat was held the Sunday before Halloween from 1 to 4pm every year since i can remember. Last year the Chief upset many parents by moving it to Night time. For me alone we went from having 50-60 kids to half of that. This year not only as he angered... but (4 comments)
