mortgage: Refinance to a 15 year term from a 30 year term! - 10/05/10 09:55 AM
Now would be a great time to refinance to a shorter term with rates so low!  Over the term of the loan you would save thousands of dollars.  My opinon if you can cut your rate by at least 1% it is worht doing and that you plan on staying in your home.  Money is cheap so go get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Everyone have a great day and make it happen :)

Wow!  This is just amazing how many homes are coming back to lenders this year.  Dont know about the rental market but my guess that could that be a issue in the future (shortage)   Something has to be done to get people back into homes and Lenders to work with homeowners to keep their homes.  We do need a CHANGE....but for the better!!!!!

The price of a U.S single family home rose in the month of June and was up overall for the second quarter of 2010, according to a report released by The S&P/ Case-Shiller Home Price Indices.  After a home price fall the first quarter of 2010 by 2.8 percent it is great to see an increase in home prices by 4.4 percent the second quarter.  Nationwide home prices are up 3.6 percent from a year ago.  Many economists … (2 comments)

U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan today awarded an additional $12 million in funding to Minnesota communities struggling to reverse the effects of the foreclosure crisis.

mortgage: Rates at all time LOW since 1971 when rates started to be tracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 08/12/10 12:09 PM
U.S. mortgage rates sank to the lowest level in decades this week, pushed down by the weak economy and the Federal Reserve's move to help lift the recovery by purchasing government debt.
Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac says the average rate for 30-year fixed loans this week was 4.44 percent, down from 4.49 percent last week. That's the lowest since Freddie Mac began tracking rates in 1971.
The average rate on the 15-year fixed loan dropped to 3.92 percent, down from 3.95 percent last week and the lowest on record.
Rates have fallen since spring and the government's July jobs report has … (0 comments)
