The town of Middleburg, VA is a well known tourist attraction In VA as well as being known as the "Nations Hunt and Horse Capital".  Middleburg lies less than an hour west of Washington, DC on Route 50.  The drive is often made for weekend tourists who want to visit the country.

va: Bears Den Trail Center in Bluemont, VA - 10/13/08 12:23 PM

Tucked up just west of Bluemont, VA off of Blueridge Mountain Road and slightly east of the Appalachian Trail, hikers find the welcome signs pointing them in the direction of the Bears Den Trail Center.  At the lodge, the hikers can find a nice shower, bunks, a kitchen and a place to catch up on email. The kitchen has two stoves, and is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware and other much needed items.

(found at http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fsb/bestplaces/2008/).  Leesburg's quaint small town village feel attracts many businesses...currently home of approx. 3000 businesses and had over 450 new business startups in 2006.
Leesburg's residents enjoy many parks, access to the Dulles Greenway and Dulles Airport close by.  With a 30 minute commute to DC, it makes suburban living extremely attractive. 
New business startups in the technology field, retail field and most recently the medical center are sited as the area's primary business fields.
