We've come a long way, from $10/Open House advertising to working with Paragon and the Great Plains MLS to come up with this Broker Reciprocity arrangement that allows us to advertise Open Houses for FREE. And how? Just enter the information in Paragon and we'll do a daily download to include it ...

We finally sold our first few Subscriptions and the reason was simple. There's nothing else available whereby "You Link 'em, You Own 'em." I started out with the question, "So, if clients find you online and use you to find a home, do they stop shopping online?" And the resounding answer was, "Of...

This was too cute to pass up. Sure, it has nothing to do with real estate but I'll let the graph speak for itself. Thanks to Joe Jacobs for this graph:   And we all found ourselves, or our kids playing this:

Looking for an advertiser for our web site, I came across https://www.mortgageloan.com/ to see local rates at 4 lenders. So, after giving eveything but my blood type and the promise of my first born named after them, i.e. income, email, etc. I received this: Your inquiry has not been sent to a le...

I don't think people realize it's a CREDIT, i.e. if you owe $3,000 in taxes, which isn't unlikely for a non-home owner that can afford a home, appying the tax credit means you'd instead get ...

Thanks to all who helped us get back to page 1 for Google, for 4114OpenHouses.com and we went from oblivion to page one for Ask.com as well. Now, how do we keep up there before we launch soon? Blogging seems to have as much an impact as changing and manipulating and fine-tuning the meta tags. Rev...

Chuck says it best but it's worth repeating: I bought 3 homes before an agent took the time to explain the commission process, i.e. it's either all going to the Listing Agent or split between them and the Selling Agent. Either way, if I'd have known that, I would have used a Buyer's Agent much so...

Additional Information

Consumers use the internet to shop for homes. When they find an agent, do they all STOP shopping online? Why not shop online with them? That's the premise for 4114Homes.com. Instead of taking them to 10 homes on Saturday they MIGHT be interested, send that list of 10 to them and ask which 4 they'd like to see! Consumers, have you ever pulled into a driveway for a home and said, "I don't want to see this one" without even getting out of the car? You can see the location with TWO Maps using 4114Homes.com Know before you go? Duh!
