real estate agents online: Seeking Real Estate Processionals Who Need Investors - 04/11/11 07:55 PM
I realize this doesn't appeal to everybody but here is what I have on the table.
Fix and flip professionals and home renovators need investors. There is a good chance they need money since the banks are not cooperating. But its not just real estate professionals who cant get a break. I have noticed this happening for a wide range of industries. The banks are just not willing to play ball.
So here is what I am going to do. I am going to funnel those investors to the people who need them most --  you, (the real estate professional). So … (1 comments)

WHAT IS TRAFFIC EXACTLY?
What is web site traffic and what does it really have to tell us? You know the first thing you always hear is that free web traffic is never really free. You have to pay for this one way or the other. Either you can do press releases or articles or get some pay per click traffic. This is either going to cost you time or money or both.
Here are some things you will want to keep in mind......
BOTS - The bots issue is something to watch  out for. These are little spiders that crawl … (4 comments)

real estate agents online: Craiglist - Cyber Vandalism and Other Unwanted Online Attention - 11/28/10 10:59 AM
As the media changes new crimes will emerge. This includes safeguarding your credit card information and other protective measures. Recently, I have come across some bizarre ramblings with Craigslist. It has become an area of online marketing thaat I have chose to avoid.
There may be some good uses for it but I have had negative experiences with it for the last 3 months. These include episodes of:* Calling Bots, at all hours* Travel information and saving information on my 800 numbers* Work at home information* Get rich schemes
But the weirdest one was a death threat from some guy in … (4 comments)

real estate agents online: Craigslist Over Played: Is This Your Best Promotional Option? - 10/21/10 04:34 PM
To the untrained eye - this looks like the best option to promote your goods. But Craigslist has become a weird cesspool of unsavory characters recently including crimes, murder, scams, and ... most recently prank phone calls. This is not the best place to conduct business lately.... but some good things are coming out of it if you know how to analyze it.
When you promote your company on the web you will notice that a lot of companies will grab your phone number and start calling you directly. The other thing you will notice is that a lot of calling … (3 comments)

My weekend was a total headache.....A colleague had me review his website. He wanted me to fix it, give it the proper SEO google treatment etc. When I looked at his site it was OK. Then I looked a little deeper and saw the problem up close......This guy had named every webpage the same name... Every title of his pages were exactly the same. There were about 50 pages on this site. This is where it gets even more interesting. This site was built by some guys in India.... Im sure they meant well but from a search engine standpoint this … (1 comments)

real estate agents online: Reading People, Reading The Real Estate Sale - With Anna Russo, NLP - Michigan - 09/23/10 05:15 PM
Have you heard about NLP? Its when you are able to read body language and eye movements to see if the person is telling you the truth. Nothing like living in the moment. This is a invaluable skill to attain if you are in sales... which... all of you are... I first met Anna during a book project we did together a few years back. I have been a student of hers since and find her work to be fascinating. I was able to capture a few clips of her addressing an insurance and real estate breakfast meeting..... You can find … (1 comments)

real estate agents online: Dallas Real Estate SEO: Good Mercy Stay Relevant !! - 09/23/10 05:07 PM
WHEW!Just helped a friend of mine get his business in order. IT turned out he had never changed any of the titles on his website. He had like 50 pages and they were all named exactly the same.....What do you think the search engines do when they see a sight like that? They jump right over it -- and index your competitor! This guy sells some high end goods. Nobody in his organization even caught it. All this time they were doing OK. But at the same time they were also handing over their lunch to their competitors......Make sure you don't … (0 comments)

real estate agents online: Cult of the Amateur and the Rise of the Entrepreneur - 09/13/10 05:55 PM
I just read this slam on Internet culture..... We're not liked much by certain authors.... It appears that we have too much control in this Web 2.0 generation. User content is dictating what is cool, and what is worth it... this covers everything from homes, to the kinds of foods we eat.....
This is interesting to me.... As im cleaning my office I ran into a 2007 issue of the New Yorker and its about the rise of YouTube.Com. The article is promising a new future of user generated content and its supportive about the days we are currently living in.The … (0 comments)

real estate agents online: Real Estate Blog Sites Are Easy To Beat - 09/02/10 08:23 PM
Lately I've been seeing more ready-made real estate blog sites. These sites look pretty impressive with all of the social media buttons and tabs. There is very little room on here for content. But on a technical level theres not much holding these things down.....Could be good news for you....The inside of sites like these are pretty congested with "gobbiliy gook" - CSS scripts and java script rolloevers. Theres not a lot of strong optimization holding this site in its proper spot.SOCIAL MEDIA HAS SOME UPSIDES TO ITSocial media connections on your site is not necessarily a bad thing.
