HUD deal to contruct a 223-bed hospital and medical office building in Hopewell, Mercer County, New Jersey.  It will replace Capital Health System's aging Mercer Medical Center, expand Fuld Hospital.The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) made a commitment to insure a loan to Capital Health System (CHS) in Trenton, New Jersey to construct a new 223-bed hospital in Hopewell Township, New Jersey to replace the existing Mercer Medical Center. Medford Lakes enjoyed another successful Canoe Carnival for 2008 this past weekend.  As always it was a great time for the community, families and friends to celebrate the uniqueness that's Medford Lakes.There had originally been weather reports calling for showers in the evening, but the historical trend in Medford Lakes of no rain on the first Saturday in August was once again upheld.  The the festivities went off without any rain, dispite threatening clouds during the day, and even providing a beautiful sunset of the lake.

south jersey: RF Output Reduced From Cell Tower In Response to Concerns - 07/05/08 03:39 PM
According to a recent article in the free local Medford Sun newspaper, The Medford United Methodist Church passed a resolution, with was agreed to by T-Mobile for a reduction in RF emissions.  While all current and planned usage was under the legal FCC limits, it was decided to be safe and limit emissions to just half of the projected output.There are still further approvals that need to take place, including T-Mobile appearing before the zoning board with it's updated proposals.The next Medford Zoning board meeting will be on Wednesday, July 16.

Medford Township will Celebrate Independence Day with a Fireworks display in Freedom Park in Medford.  The fireworks are always great and enjoyed by all.  Festivities will start at 6 p.m.If for some reason you can not make it to the celebration tonight, other communities in Burlington County, South Jersey and the Delaware Valley, will provide many opportunities to enjoy fireworks displays put on by local communities.You can also attend Fort Dix's Independence Day Celebration for what I believe is one of the best fireworks displays you will enjoy up close.
