moose run: Moose Run: Waterville Valley Resort's LAST Subdivision - 03/03/10 02:26 PM
Moose Run: Waterville Valley Resort's last subdivisionMark Twain once said, "Buy land, they're not making it anymore."  That is certainly the case at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.  You drive through eight miles of National Forest, along the banks of the energetic Mad River, to get to Waterville Valley.  Tucked in the White Mountains, this pedestrian-friendly village is comprised of just 500 acres of privately owned land and is completely surrounded by National Forest.  Waterville Valley is like an island in the middle of the forest, and that creates a permanent limited supply of land.  Unlike in other communities, there isn’t another … (1 comments)

moose run: Last New Homesites at Waterville Valley, NH - 09/18/09 08:39 AM

Waterville Valley, NH, August 12, 2009…Waterville Valley Resort’s master developer, the Waterville Company, is developing the last single family homesites ever to be offered in the resort town. Under Waterville Valley’s Master plan, the rest of the town’s land has either already been delevoped for single family homes, or is in the White Mountain National Forest.
