Enough is enough- Know when to hang up the license. How do you know when you have had enough, easy answer is if you spent more than you made, you should probably consider making a quick exit, if it has been a while since you have been to a closing table you may want to call it a day. If you have a full time job and do not have time for any real estate clients, it may be time to for you to rethink about selling real estate.

First let me explain the difference- A referral is an actual client that has been qualified by another person, many times another real estate agent, as someone who is going to be buying or selling and needs help. The referring party is unable to help so they seek out a competent agent to refer this client to. Where does your business come from?- I recently interviewed for the managing broker position of a nationally known real estate company and one of the things they asked me to provide was a list of all my past business? I figured this would be relatively simple to compile, however our MLS does not keep records beyond 3 years, so I will need to go through boxes of closed files to to account for everyone.
