Hi Gab; just wanted to say, nice graph! Do you use google spreadsheets to generate it? Also, 65 homes sold in 24 hours? I am wondering, were these 'special' in any way, such as REO's auctions, etc? Just curious.

Looks like listings are hitting the MLS as they should in the spring season.  Wonderful data on the quick sale of homes as well, great news to say very positive things about your market.  Good luck and wonderful stats to present to you clients.

HI MICHAEL!  No to the Google spreadsheet - my secret is actually an easy kids graphing tool.  I like it because it's simple, it's colorful and you can do a number of different graphs and charts with it in a snap!  As for the homes, after a quick review, most SOLDS for today were owner-occupied residences or vacant but still owned by the Seller, and the rest were bank-owned (a mix of short sale and foreclosures).  The price spread was from $45k (for a condo) to $785k (an upper end home).  I am impressed with the number of SOLDS in the past few days.  How are sales in my hometown?! -- Gab

HI CONNIE!  Thank you!  I also reviewed the DOM and was impressed to see that more than "not" closed within 30 days of contract acceptance!  Another upside to the spring market!  How are things in Texas? Happy weekend to you! -- Gabrielle

Thanks for the link to the graphing tool! You're the best! As for home town sales; yesterdays headlines were "Home Foreclosures rise 503%" Still, we were No. 30 out of 50 states, with 1 forclosure for every 700 households.  Year-to-Date numbers are:  Sales, down 34.8% from a year ago for SFR's, and 45.3% for condos. Prices down 8.1% for SFR's, and  down 9.1% for condos.
