I'm really not surprised by this. As long as have to stand in line or visit the Doctor we'll have magazines. The only magazines I haven't cancelled are my Readers Digest and Discovery. I recycle them too. I bring them to the Doctors office and leave them there :)

I agree magazine readership is up.  I buy all the 100 Decorating Ideas type of magazines I can find. It helps me when talking with Clients.  I don't read Homes & Lifestyles unless I am at a restaurant waiting for my dinner to arrive. Can you measure your readership?  Do you know which pages people are viewing?  And whether or not they are making contact with a REALTOR?  Just curious...

Our readership is about 100,000 per month per area. (IE Homes & Land of Orange County) Times have changed; consumers like remaining anonymous as long as possible so I always tell my realtor clients not to expect phone calls. The point of the advertising is to provide yourself with brand recognition. Anytime 100,000 of your closest friends see your face, phone number and website, its definitley a good thing! Internet leads from our website HomesAndLand.com are definitley waay up though! Although I tell clients not to expect phone calls, advertisers are still reporting high call volume so that's a good thing : )
