5200 points and closing! Way back when in high school and college, I was a runner. My buddies used to refer to me as Miruts Yifter who was an Olympic caliber runner who had a huge kick at the finish line. I believe his nickname back in the day was 'Yifter the Shifter" because he had such phenomenal speed on the last lap. No one was safe from him on the last lap, no matter how big of a lead they had.

Here I am, 5200 points behind 3rd place in Idaho. We have had a pretty good competition this last few months, but here I come.  We are almost on the last lap, and this boy only goes for the gold medal. After all, everyone knows that silver goes to the first loser.

See ya round the medal stands very soon!

Awesome. :)

Unfortunately I still have a couple of hundred thousand to go to the medal round but I have my eyes on the prize.

Actually the agtent right behind me is probably going to overtake all of us very soon. I have a feeling that any medal for me will be short lived.
