The Home Buyers Poem

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Realty Group

This little Poem should become every homebuyers mantra. As the amount of time left on the $8000 tax credit winds down there will be more and more Buyers flooding the market and competing for what little inventory is available.

So for all of you looking to take advantage of this market please make this your Golden rule to follow as your look at homes this summer.

The Home Buyers Poem

The house that you look at today

and

want to THINK about until tomorrow

will

be the house another BUYER looked at yesterday

and

made an OFFER on today !!

So true!  At times, waiting may not be the best choice.

Trey - I have found in life the simplier the better. It seems to me the more complicated things get the harder they are to keep track of or keep together.

Bridget - Wow , Thank You , I am very flattered

Irene - Waiting is only a choice if you are working with an investor.

Kathleen - OK I thought three was the charn ! What are they afraid of ?

Michael - Hopefully with the clock ticking on the tax credit deadline a few of your buyers will hop down off of the fence

The Homebuyer's Poem is true for every buyer, in every price range, market and economy.  I always tell my buyers that if they love a home, chances are, someone else is loving it also.  The Homebuyer's Poem makes it simple and more concrete.  Thanks.

LOL, I can honestly say I have done exactly that...and I only waited 12 hours...We bought the one across the street so I was reminded every day...(I DID end up with a bigger, prettier home, but I still liked the floorplan of the other, better!).

That's a nice way to put it.  Things are moving faster than many customers think.  They need to take action if they like a home.  Thanks for the post and the many useful comments it generated.

Very cute poem!  and very true.  I have a hunch some buyers are going to end up disappointed -- so I hope they pay attention to the time frames their realtors are reminding them of!

Jim - Sometimes everyone needs a subtle reminder of how fast the market is due to the lack of viable inventory

Alexsandra - Only XX days until the $8000 Tax Credit Expires shpuld be on the top of all advertising and social network media to get thru to the buyers. !
