Motivational Power Quote

Genuine Passion is Like a Mountain Stream

"A genuine passion is like

a mountain stream;

it admits of no impediment;

 it cannot go backward,

it must go forward."

Christian Nestell Bovee, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Genuine passion is like a mountain stream.

A mountain stream may start with a trickle and turn into a force and travel a great distances. The flow of the stream creates many benefits for those who come in contact with it.

The stream continues to flow forward and won't flow backwards.

Our passion is a lot like a mountain stream.

Our passion starts with a thought and turns into a vision. That vision becomes our passion.

When things become challenging our passion will keep us focused on our desired out come and will help us to maintain forward momentum.

The force of a stream will wear away a boulder, and our passion will remove obstacles.

Lou, I love the quote! To me, it means making a good, solid commitment and persuing the obvious path that you are meant to follow.

Lou,

I have never heard this before, but I love it, "it cannot go backward, it must go forward."

Great stuff.

Hey, Lou – I left a surprise for you in my blog post this morning. Let me know when you find it. What? You thought I was going to tell you what and where it is. Ha! This comment is a clue, though!

Great quote. Never heard that before. Well written, and obviously makes a LOT of sense in an inspirational form.
