OMG, I just received a email from Zillow that my condo on Dobson Ranch increased in value by .6% in the last month. My husband and I were one of the stubborn homeowners that bought a new bigger place last year and retained our curent condo as a investment property. Did not want to sell it because the value had gone down about 60% in the prior 12 month period. We also refused to default and have really been cutting back on our lifestyle to make the payments since our renters don't pay all that's owed each month.
I "claimed" my home in Zillow and they send me monthly reports on it's value. This morning I got an email that said it had increased and sure enough, during the month of June there have been 4 sales in the 145,000 - 165,000 price range. We still have about 30-40k to go before we are ready to sell, but this is the best news I've seen...Thank God for FTHB!
Anyone else having similar results?
