Tweet Lister for Automatic Tweeting of your Listings

By
Real Estate Agent with Donna Homes, PLR 0480809

Have you heard of Tweet Lister? I heard about it last week, and immediately posted a listing on it to see what would happen.

It's pretty neat because you just enter the address, and pick a couple of features of the home, and the tweet is automatically created for you.

You can enter a link for pictures or a virtual tour and that's included also.

Then, you can tell it how often you want the tweet to go out.  I put mine as every 2 days, and low and behold, every other day, the tweet goes through without me doing a thing!  When it tweets, it's automatically hitting my Facebook page too.

Talk about getting the listing in front of people over and over again without actually spending the energy to write the same thing over and over again!!

Donna,

so it's all over the google search engine, facebook and twitter. Do you think buyers are noticing these listings? Or do you think they prefer to directly to sites like Realtor.com, RE/MAX.com and of course you local associations website. I have often thought that the exposure can only be as good as its audience. Its sorta like waving a huge banner on the street corner, but on the wrong side of town. I don't know if that makes any sense or not. I'm really curious if the "exposed" listings matter if they aren't "where" they need to be. What do you think?

Claude, It can't hurt!

Roy, Thanks!

Greg, The thing is, people go to Google, Yahoo, Bing, or where ever, and they put in the search criteria as Austin Tx Home for Sale, and maybe they put 4 bedrooms or something else along with the main keywords.  My link that twitter created should appear to them along with the other links of realtor.com, remax.com and the other sites. So, yes, I feel it's where people look because it's all about the keywords that they're searching with.  They don't necessarily need to be on Twitter to see it.

Hi Donna... what an interesting concept.  I am definitely going to check it out.  I'm always a bit skeptical, but it couldn't hurt to try it, right?
