This month Ione has 63 active listings, up two from last month’s 61 listings. The average listing price in Ione is $319,715 up a god bit from last month’s $278,902. Houses have set on the market for an average of 148 days, down ten from last month’s 158 days. In the last month Ione has had 14 new listings and 8 listings have sold. Both numbers up a little from last month. Happy me I now have a new set of neighbors over the back fence! They were one of the last sales to be counted in July. They got one heck of a good deal too.
Five homes tie for Ione’s median price listing offered at $249,990. All five are new homes in the Castle Oaks development by JTS. Very close to the golf course and in Kaiser service area. This month we have a new “highest priced listing” in the area. This three bedroom three bath 5100 square foot custom has three master suites, huge pool, gym, unbelievable landscaping, a caretakers home (3/2) and a 900 square foot guest/pool house. All on 97+ acres. The asking price for this one is $3,500,000.
