Fall Vegetable Garden Planting Dates for San Antonio, the Hill Country, and South Texas

Fall vegetable garden planting dates have arrived for San Antonio and the surrounding area.  Bexar County Extension Agent David Rodriguez and vegetable specialist Dr. Jerry Parsons have published "Fall Vegetable Varieties" so gardeners will know when to plant from seed and transplants.

The dates provided in the guide are for sowing seeds.  Transplants must be used, according to the authors, when it is too late to plant by seed.

So, gardeners, what are you waiting for...start planting for a wonderful Fall vegetable garden this week.  You'll have tasty veggies by the time the cool weather arrives.

Additional Information

The primary focus of my blog, "Avoid Texas Foreclosure" is to inform distressed homeowners of their options when: (1) their mortgage is currently in default; or, (2) they expect their mortgage to go into default. In addition, I plan to offer usable information to my fellow agents as they represent buyers and sellers in distressed property transactions.
