Motivational Power Quote

What We See

"What we see depends mainly on

what we look for."

Sir John Lubbock

As I see it. . . . . . . .

What we see . . . . Will be determined by what you're looking for.

Narrow your focus down to the things that are important to you and those things you want.

Once you indentified the things that are important to you spend your time looking for them.

The more time you spend on finding the things you want the faster you'll find them.

Lou, I always look for the good in people and I'm always looking for the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow...is that a bad thing?!

I say once you have identified the things you want stay after it but always look up, look down, look all around that you don't miss out on something else just as important.

Lou, I have seen this quote before, and it was taped to a photograph of the baby girl of one of my client's. She had been born with some tragic disabilities and passed away shortly after her birth, but the photo was of the mother cradling her as lovingly as any new mother would.

Lou, that is so on target!  I've noticed how things I've never noticed before just start to turn up in my space when I have a heightened awareness of them.

Lou, we all have too much "clutter" in our lives...I really have been working on cutting that out!

Lou - especially in other people, we tend to see what we expect, or look for. We do need to be focused on our goals, but need to make sure that we do not become exessively myopic.
