At first I thought it was a joke when doggiedoocare started following me on twitter. But when I saw Peter Fontaines' profile, and that this is actually a legitimate local business. Check out their website. In my normal fashion I had to make a funny or smart remark but I started thinking about all the homeowners with dogs that might need the services of DoggieDooCare. I contacted them and asked if it would be Ok to blog about it.Why?
Can you imagine showing a home and your client steps in something? A stinky end to the showing without a doubt. And the potential buyer, when they think about this home, they are not going to think about the home but the stuff they stepped into! A big pile of Fido's excrement is not going to put someone in a house buying mood!
I am sure that those that know me will think this is a joke, but if it means helping a local business, which you know I am adamant about, and if it could help a client sell a home, then why not?
Having a big cookout and don't want the same argument as last time about who is going to clean the yard?
Got young children that play outside and you want to ensure a clean safe environment for them?
Not a job I would want, but we talk about niche markets all the time. This entrepreneur has found a business that is almost guaranteed to have little competition. Years ago I owned a Rottweiler, and cleaning the yard was not fun. But I did it because I loved the dog. Lost her in a divorce, man I miss that dog. But not the yard clean up.
Anyways, after the initial shock that a business like this even exists, start thinking about it seriously. And I bet all you dog owners out there will consider using DoggieDooCare.com
