Consisting of a four-acre recreation area, the OWC offers water play, picnicking, hiking, biking, a nature-oriented gift shop, environmental education programs, a 7,200 sq. ft. visitors center, year-round special events, and provides the playground for whitewater rafting and kayaking.

Lee & Carol, I have never been to Ducktown TN.  I do have a brother in Blountville TN. A lot of activitie in Ducktown.  The Basin Museum looks very interesting, looks like some good trails as well.

Hi Rebecca. I haven't been back to the Basin Museum since Brandon was in middle school, but it was so interesting and I always enjoy the old photographs and mining tools. Trail after trail - you never run out of things to do.
