Why Staging the bathroom is so important!

By

Bathroom decorating/home staging is so important. Bathrooms help sell homes, especially the master bath. Make sure you clean out ALL the clutter!! You ALWAYS want to have your master bath sparkling clean, windows and mirrors included. Add a simple flower arrangement, fragranced soaps and a few new spa towels and you have it! Remember if you have your home for sale, people are there to imagine themselves in the house so remove the personal items. A simple, clean look always works. Don’t forget to light a few scented candles! Neutral paint choices in the bathrooms please! Potential buyers can always add color by adding accessories with their own color choices and in their minds resonates as one less room they have to spend money converting.

Bathrooms are a not only functional, but a getaway for most. Making the bath, especially the Master Bath, an oasis to get away from the days pressures. Inviting, clean, relaxing, soothing colors will help when staging a bathroom.

So spruce up those bathrooms and remember home buyers notice everything!

Jennifer, Thanks for the staging tips.  I always encourage sellers to enhance their kitchens and baths since those are key rooms in a home.

Great suggestions.  I'm not a stager but I find that brand new towels tied with bows and green accents like grass dress up a bathroom very nicely.  Thanks for additional ideas!

I couldn't agree with you more! Bathroom are often the make or break of a sale.

Good post.

Great post-it does not take much to make them look nice and they are so important! Just making sure the seats are down and the counters are clear is an improvement.
