Sarah, I so enjoyed watching that.  The doggie soaking up the sun made me think of a summer day.  Now please tell me that 3rd or 4th picture is NOT your latest listing!

That was very nice Sarah. So nice to see through other's eyes the beauty (or otherwise) their area.  (I actually loved that house where half is into the side of the hill...that was neat!)

Maggie - No, none of these are listings.  This is just a side to West Virginia that I don't see very often.  I think the old houses are beautiful even when they're falling down.  The car-thing was interesting.  It made me wonder where the rest of it went.  The doggie was my favorite.

Sally - I like the tiny little house, too.  It looked like it was just wide enough to spread out your arms.  But look!  A walkout basement!  :o)

Michael - Hey, nice to see you again!  :oD  Have a good weekend, too!

Looks like I gave you some inspiration... I think I found the rest of the car.  The flamed hearse, maybe. :)

Whoops, Maggie - Actually, one of those IS part of a listing.  <Sheepish grin>

Sally - While it's small for a house, it would be luxurious for a dog house.  It's all in your perspective, isn't it?

Chris - I made Jeff Turner homesick with this one!  :o)  (Really!)

Jason - You DID give me inspiration!  I was thinking, "I can do better than that tree stand."  Well, I tied it at least.  But your hearse RULES.  I don't think I can ever top that one.

Sarah,

I just uploaded a YouTube video to compliment the post... :) Iam sure you will enjoy it.

I will see what I can do to send you a nice framed photo of the hearse.

That was cool... real simple life of the life long residents of WV..  Those back country rides are inspiring... Definitely makes you appreciate what you have...but also makes you wonder if you could live that simple.  Nice picts.

Sarah: Nice job—there is definitely some material for the curb-appeal contest here! There are parts of MinnesotaImage-AC-Active-Fans where one may find similar abandoned houses and farms. When I was viewing your presentation, I couldn’t help but think that those houses were onece vibrant homes to families, maybe even generations of families…

Bob - It was so peaceful out there!  I thought all of it was beautiful, just in very different ways.

Danny - Loretta is from Kentucky.  We have Brad Paisley!  :o)  (And Kathy Mattea, Jennifer Garner ... Jeff Turner ... !)

Jay - I've done better at "hovel" than "curb appeal", but somehow that's easier.  I'll work on the other part of the contest!

Jason - You don't have any green?  I love it here.  I live in a much different area than in those pictures, but still, in the summer all the trees are full and my neighbors houses nearly disappear.  I get edgy if I'm away from our hills for too long.  Ohio makes me nervous, the world goes flat when I'm there.
