Historic Hyde Park Train Station

This is the Hyde Park  September report for single family detached homes.  As you can see most of the sales were under $300,000.  I suspect most of the 14 homes sold were purchased by first time buyers who wanted to benefit from the $8000 tax credit.

Hi Jennifer,

Good info for Hyde Park. Our entry level homes has also been what's moving in our area of SoCal and like you I believe it's been driven by the tax credit. It will be interesting to see what happens at the expiration of this.

The 1st time buyer market has been a large part of the volume here as well. Lets hope the tax credit gets extended!

Jennifer first time home buyers and the $8,000 tax credit are having a big inpact right now, it will be interesting to see if this continues if the tax credit goes away at the end of next month.
