The Grand Bohemian Hotell and Residences, a highrise hotel and luxury condominium project in downtown St Petersburg Florida is about to undergo some design changes. Richard Kessler has decided to include more hotel rooms and less condominiums, so construction will be delayed for up to one year. Original plans were to have the first 15 of 32 floors as 166 hotel rooms, with 82 condominiums above, including two penthouses - with separate entrance and facilities but full use of all hotel services and amenities. The Kessler Group is known for incorporating art and music into its projects. Their Westin Grand Bohemian hotel in Orlando has been named the top Westin hotel in the world. Their project for St Pete is unique in the Tampa Bay area. Condominiums were priced from $500,000 to $5,500,000 but are expected to increase over the next year due to rising construction costs.
