ZOO BOO at Erie Zoo

Whether you have kids or grandkids, ZOO BOO is a great way to celebrate fall.  Last night was my first year making the trek to the ZOO BOO 2009 at the Erie Zoo.  Now I am hooked.  I am sure that I will plan to attend ZOO BOO every fall.

Would you like to see a few photos I took last night before it got too dark?  Do these kids look anxious to go?

So many people, but very organized.  Each of 12 Treat Stops were decorated, staffed & loaded with yummy treats throughout the Erie Zoo.  Some of the areas were decorated by local organizations like a Girl Scout Troop.  Very creative!!!

Left:  Alien Spaceship Landed (My favorite display--VERY CREATIVE)

Right:  ZOO Tube hosted by one of Erie's radio stations.  Kids are rock'n.  Such Fun!!!!

No Halloween display is complete without a graveyard.  The names of the buried were another example of the creativty.  My daughter said 2009 ZOO BOO was the best she has seen.

I couldn't resist taking this little girl's picture.  Perhaps you can see that her wings and antenae light up.  Her face is coated with just a tiny bit of glitter.  So precious!

So until next year . . .

PS:  Events are great place to "softly network for business."  Be a host, like Wegman's, McDonald's, Bob Evans, radio stations.  The list is limited only by your imagination.  Remember: Have fun! and enjoy your family, too.

Mary,

Your grand kids are adorable! It looks like it was a really fun evening. What a cool event idea. I'll have to see if there's something like that around where I live. The displays look so elaborate and festive. Nothing like a Halloween event to get you in the mood for the fall/winter seasons! Thanks for sharing your fun.

Your friend in the Cosmic Cow Pie.

Carra--Thanks!  They are "All boy!" as the saying goes.  The three year old tries to keep up with the eight year old.  I can just imagine what he will be doing when he's eight or nine.  Thanks for visiting here today.

Carole--Grab a friend and go to one near you.  The kids and the parents are so busy they wouldn't even guess you were 'kidless' for the evening.  I have a widowed aunt who does that when she wants to see or do something.  I even watch football games by myself sometimes even though I am not a huge fan of the sport.
