Oh Chris Ann - I am a HUGE historic property fan!  This church is absolutely gorgeous and seems to be in great shape - NOT neglected! Thanks for sharing this!

Leesa:  It is very well maintained and still in use.  When I was there during the week, there was a preschool class on recess.

Chris Ann-terrific photo.  I did a series last year on historic churches in our area.  I missed this one!

Cindy:  I don't even know where I was when I took this picture.  My friend was driving.

Steve:  It was a perfect time of year to take the picture.

Chris Ann.. I love history.  What might be hard to relate to today, is that the town (whole town) probably fit in that church on Sundays.

Chriss Ann~ I love this picture, absolutely quaint to say the least. I love it when towns preserve some of the historic building that helped them become what they are today.

Hi Chris Ann

I remember the first time you ran this great looking church. It has so much character and class. I would love to see close up details.

Valerie:  The churches springing up in our area almost look like high schools.  Built for capacity, not beauty.

Jan Marie:  Not only preserved, it's still in use.

Trey:  If I can find it again, I'll wander inside.

I love the way you framed this photograph, Chris Ann. You have such an artistic talent. When I first landed on your blog today, I thought it was a postcard. It's THAT pretty!

This is just wonderful! What a super shot - I agree with Elizabeth - it looks like a postcard. It's a lovely place.

Elizabeth:  Well if real estate ever dries up for me, I'll get into the postcard business.  :)

Debi:  Thanks.  Sometimes you just get a great shot.

Chris Ann --- this is a beautiful photo -- looks like the church is awesome -- I love old churches -- kinda looks like my church when I was a child.

Liz:  I went to a really funky looking church as a kid.  Inspired 60's and 70's architecture.  BIG church.  I have since found a love of these small and simple churches.

Chris Ann what a great picture, I am a big fan of looking not just from the outside, but from the inside as well and love to read about the history of when and how it was built. I guess that is one of the reasons Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett is one of my favorite books

Endre:  I like churches from the outside best.  I'm not a very religious person.
