Another Bank Bites the Dust!

Under fire from Democrats and Republicans alike, Ben S. Bernanke on Thursday December 4, 2009 defended his record as chairman of the Federal Reserve but conceded that the central bank's lapses contributed to the financial crisis. 'New York Times"

Mr. Bernanke on a radio interview today said that he was sure that if we had not bailed out the banks when we did, America would be in a depression right now.

This Bank of America located at 1810 W. Emerson St. Seattle, WA in the neighborhood of Magnolia is due to close it's doors for good on February 26, 2010 at 2pm

Are we going to miss these banks closing? How many banks does America need anyhow? More and more people are losing their homes due to Foreclosures. People can go back to buying homes with Deeds of Trusts and deal directly with Seller Financing.

What is your input with the current banking system? Are they helping the economy? How fast are your shortsale transactions taking? How many are going into foreclosure?

Maybe a little bit of consolidation is what the banks need, get rid of a few locations to tighten up their books.
