Blind Squirrel Finds Acorns!

Blind Squirrel Finds Acorns!

I guess the old adage about even a Blind Squirrel can find an acorn is true.

At our company Christmas party last week, I received an award for the "ROOKIE of the Year."

My principal broker said, "I bet with over thirty years at the top of your last profession, you never expected to be a rookie again!"

That's true, it's not easy to start something new after so long being spoiled.

It's hard being a "legend in your own mind!"

Gary, Congratulations to you!  I have great admiration for your spirit and drive.  It is difficult starting over after having been on the top of your game for so many years.  I'm right there with you doing the same thing.  But keep in mind, the quality that got you to the top of your game once is still within you and has taken you there again!  You go!!!

Thanks Barb.  I think starting over in a new career is both challenging and fun!  It helps keep me young.
